Students are enriched by the strength of the Arts offering at MBC. They have the opportunity to imagine and innovate, supported and guided by our experienced team. From Visual Arts to Performing Arts and all creative forms in-between, students are inspired to create.
As a key part of our holistic education, VET fosters both technical expertise and personal growth, empowering students to turn knowledge into action and ambition into achievement.
Michelle Lucas | Pathways Coordinator
Choosing a Vocational Education and Training (VET) pathway is an excellent way for young adults to develop the practical skills required in the world beyond school. At MBC, students work to their individual strengths as they prepare for a future career in the work force. Through training and work experience in their chosen industry, they are able to prepare for the future with confidence.
Providing all students with access to learning is a fundamental part of delivering a high standard of education at Mandurah Baptist College. Across Pre Kindergarten to Year 12, programs and learning experiences are differentiated to allow children to learn, and to demonstrate their learning, in different ways.
The Specialist Program for Year 9 and Year 10 students, which functions as a enrichment course across the subjects of Mathematics, English, Science and Humanities, seeks to extend and enrich learning beyond the traditional teachings for students who have excelled and wish to be challenged further.
Sport not only has a positive impact on a child’s mental and physical wellbeing, it also motivates, empowers and enhances their ability to interact positively with others. Taking part in sport allows students to develop their strengths, build confidence and encourages them to achieve their personal best.
Our diverse Extra Curricular programs offer students the opportunity to explore their passions, develop new skills, and engage with the community. From sports teams and clubs to music, drama, and leadership activities, there is something for everyone to get involved in. These programs not only complement academic learning but also help students build confidence, teamwork, and a sense of responsibility. We encourage all students to participate and discover their potential beyond the classroom.
